The Original North South Streets were in Alphabetical Order starting with Alamitos going East and ending with Termino, many of the streets still have the original names i.e.: Bonito, Cerritos, Esparanza, Hermosa, Junipero …, Many have been renamed
Kennebec (original Kalamazoo, the current Euclid Street was originally Termino, there is a new Termino a few blocks to the East in Belmont Heights.
The Original Plots along the beach between places were all very large 4 lots to the block, this is the current location for most of the High-rise Condominiums, i.e.; Ocean Club at 1310 Ocean occupies 3 lots between 7th and 8th place, 1500 Ocean occupies a full block between 9th and 10th place on 4 lots. In 1988 the lots sold for $500.00
