NAVAL WEAPONS STATION
Provides ordnance logistics support to Naval and marine operation forces. The Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station consists of 5,000 acres and contains a 1,000-acre National Wildlife Refuge. This Refuge is a salt marsh area that is a breeding ground for various fish and migratory birds.
LEISURE WORLD
Leisure World is a gated community occupied by nearly 10,000 retired or semi-retired citizens over age 55. Founded in 1962, as the first senior community of its size, it occupies 533 acres of prime land within the city limits of Seal Beach. Nearly 200 different clubs, an outdoor 2,500 capacity amphitheater, 9-hole golf course, 4 club houses with medical facility, pharmacy, meeting rooms, mini-buses, private security guards, swimming pool, shuffleboard, lawn bowling, craft centers and much more.

Approximately 28 miles East of Los Angeles, bordered on the South by Pacific Ocean.
